TriBeCa Loft Terrace Designed for a growing family, this loft apartment - nestled in the heart of TriBeCa - features a large terrace with separate living and dining areas. Borrowing from the industrial past of its surroundings, a framework of lead coated copper planters defines the boundaries of the two terrace spaces. Steps off the main terrace level lead to a sunken outdoor living room complete with outdoor furniture accented in bold fabrics. Bold colors are repeated in the terrace dining area which sits perched above the living room level. The strong reds and oranges lend brightness to the muted palette of brick, concrete and metal in this city landscape while multi-stemmed Birch trees, Hakonechloa grasses and lacey perennials soften the hard edges of this former industrial setting.
