Brooklyn Ironwork Restoration - In Development

RKLA was commissioned to explore the restoration feasibility, as well as several design alternatives, for a 340 foot long perimeter railing built in 1928. The extremely detailed 4 foot tall cast iron fence was designed to compliment a flatiron building by architect Rosario Candela completed in the same year. Candela, an American architect, is most noted for his design of luxury apartment buildings along Fifth Avenue and Park Avenue during the 1920s.
