Looking to renovate their Chelsea back garden, the clients commissioned RKLA to design an expanded pond, a glass roofed dining and sitting deck and a woodland shade planting. RKLA has worked closely with the clients - avid Japanese koi, fantail, frog and toad enthusiasts - to accommodate their growing aquatic family with an expanded pond measuring 30 feet x 4 feet x 2 ½ feet deep. Due to the highly specialized nature of this project, the clients’ input throughout the design and construction process has been integral to the success of this new fish and amphibian habitat.
