First Presbyterian Church Following an extensive restoration of First Presbyterian’s Gothic Revival brownstone façade in the early 1990’s, RKLA was commissioned to redesign the Church’s grounds. The redesigned gardens include bluestone pathways and terraces, two large lawns, a viewing garden, a cloister garden, and several small specimen flowering trees. RKLA continues to oversee the maintenance and evolution of this important New York green space as it is Fifth Avenue’s only green space between Washington Square Park and Madison Square Park.
