West Village Nursery School

RKLA collaborated with parent architects, Adam Weintraub and Mishi Hosono of Koko Architecture, to realize their vision for this cooperative nursery school. The school’s small playground, located in the backyard of a West Village brownstone, engages children in a range of spatial and physical experiences. In order to maintain an open play space within the confines of a small site, the playground features transformable elements that adapt to the school’s programmatic needs. Architect:
