Bronwyn Gropp

Bronwyn Gropp joined RKLA in the fall of 2010. She earned a Master of Landscape Architecture degree from the City College of New York and she holds an undergraduate degree in Fine Art from the SUNY New Paltz. During her graduate studies, Bronwyn's work awarded her distinctions including the Frederick Bainnson Scholarship for excellence in Landscape Architecture in 2008 and the ASLA Certificate of Honor in 2010. Her exposure at City College led to several notable collaborative opportunities, including the development of a winning entry - Building C-Burbia - in the Long Island Index’s international competition, Build A Better Burb. Building C-Burbia, a proposal for retrofitting infrastructural wasted space specific to suburban conditions, has been written about in the New York Times and published in Retrofitting Suburbia (2011).

Prior to joining RKLA, Bronwyn gained professional experience at her internship for Quennell Rothschild & Partners in the summers of 2008 and 2009, where she worked exclusively on their PlaNYC Far Rockaway Park project.
