As part of an ongoing modernization and restoration of the church and buildings at The Brick Presbyterian Church, located on Park Avenue and 92nd Street, RKLA Studio worked on the renovation of the central courtyard garden, including a new playground for the church’s pre-school with new safety surfacing, play structures, and storage.

Adjacent to the play area, a new terrace serves church functions and coffee hours. It incorporates plantings, a relocated fountain, benches, cafe seating, and an outdoor kitchen.
